This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds apply to link building and search engine optimization services (the "Services") purchased from Orankly ("Orankly", "we", "our", or "us"). This Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. By purchasing our Services, you agree to the terms set out below.
Our goal is to be fair and transparent. Because much of our work involves outreach, publisher relationships, and content that is produced and placed on third-party websites, some costs are incurred as soon as a campaign begins. This Policy explains how that affects refunds.
1. Our Commitment
We stand behind the quality of our work. Before requesting a refund, we ask that you contact us so we can understand the issue and, where possible, resolve it directly. Many concerns can be addressed quickly through a replacement, a revision, or an adjustment to the campaign.
2. Replacement Guarantee for Links
For qualifying link placements, if a live link is removed within the guarantee period stated in your Order or proposal, we will replace it with a link of equal or greater quality at no additional cost. This replacement guarantee is our primary remedy for link-related issues, and it applies before any refund is considered.
The replacement guarantee does not apply where:
- The link was removed due to changes made by the Client to their own website or content.
- The Client's website received a penalty or manual action unrelated to our work.
- The link was affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control after a genuine, good-faith placement.
3. When Refunds May Apply
A refund may be considered in the following situations:
- Work not started: If you cancel before any work has begun on your Order and before any resources have been committed, you are eligible for a full refund of that Order.
- Undelivered work: If we are unable to deliver agreed Deliverables and cannot provide a suitable replacement within a reasonable time, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund covering the undelivered portion.
Refunds, where granted, apply only to the specific undelivered or non-conforming Deliverables, not to work already completed to a professional standard.
4. When Refunds Do Not Apply
Refunds are generally not available in the following situations:
- Work that has already been delivered to the agreed specification.
- Outreach, prospecting, and content production costs already incurred on an active campaign.
- Dissatisfaction with search engine rankings, traffic, or revenue, since these outcomes are influenced by third-party algorithms and factors outside our control and are never guaranteed.
- Delays or non-delivery caused by the Client failing to provide required information, approvals, or access.
- Requests made after the guarantee or refund window stated in your Order has expired.
- Custom, consulting, or strategy work that has already been performed.
5. How to Request a Refund
To raise a concern or request a refund:
- Contact us using the details below within the applicable window stated in your Order.
- Include your name, company, invoice or Order reference, and a clear description of the issue.
- Allow us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and, where appropriate, offer a replacement or revision first.
We aim to acknowledge refund requests promptly and to resolve them fairly.
6. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
- Refunds are typically processed within a reasonable number of business days after approval, though the time for funds to appear depends on your payment provider.
- Any applicable transaction or processing fees may be deducted where permitted.
7. Chargebacks
If you have a concern about a payment, please contact us first so we can resolve it. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us is considered a breach of our Terms and Conditions and may result in suspension of Services and recovery of associated costs.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date reflects the latest version. The Policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
